HYPE MUSIC AWARDS

I just found out that i'm nominated in the Hype Music Awards.  The list is very impressive with very talented producers in Hip Hop! I had taken a break from Hip Hop in a minute and this is a warm welcome back! You'll hear more Hip Hop records from me in 2010 but the few i've worked on already is getting my hip hop presence back in South Africa! I guess I got that!

STARLA - I GOT THAT

Starla's I got that was made available as a single from today.  Can't wait to see the reaction of the general public and radio.  I think its a smash.  I will upload it soon, at least the instrumental. I'm on my way to the studio to work on more mixes. 

I have four of them in the bag now. This day is a hard one to mix cause i'm not in a great space, but i trust in God that I'll be fine! 

The irony is i'm finishing of the mix of What's up Jesus?, a question I have been asking a lot! So lets see how the mixes go! Enjoy I got that!

AFRO HOUSE MANIAC'S YA ROBA ON THE NEW DJ ZINHLE RELEASE

Afro House Maniacs famous for We get down on Soul Candi and Gimme on Oskido's Church Grooves returns with a ghetto hit track Ya roba! And you know your boy Beatmaker is behind that.  The first ever collaboration with DJ Bobstar as an A&R.  Also watch out for an Afro House Maniacs song featuring Aya on its way soon!

JR ABOUT TO DROP A NEW RECORD

JR is about to drop an album! Yep the Ga ta Le NNa and So Hot superstar is at it again.  This time around his got a Club Banger from your boi Beatmaker (First Son Baby) on a track called "Clothes" featuring Babalwa's sister a cameo by Lerato Kganyago and a mix of IV League's produced smash "Young Black Rich and Famous".

The future mogul has an album with real potential with the first single being Aga Shame produced by Todi of Morafe, by the way the boy is on fire!

WE RUN THIS CITY - DEEP LEVEL

Deep Level's latest album coming out on November the 6th, 2009 features a last minute track produced and composed by the one and only Beatmaker of First Son Productions.  Much respect to the Hip Hop Scholar! This was my second collaboration with the Street Music A&R. Our first attempt was on Toxic, gave the masses a summer hit last year. SABC 1 even put it as a promo theme for a minute.  Unfortunately the boy didn't leave up to industry discipline, I believe he's working on an album too! We Run This City has made its mark on Hip Hop Charts! Call your favourite station to hear it or catch them at live events! I got a couple of tracks coming out this Summer so stay watching the blog!
